Jeffrey Earnhardt, grandson of Dale Earnhardt, plans to compete in the NASCAR Nationwide Series full-time, for the first time, in 2014, doing so from behind the wheel of an entry for JD/Gary Keller Motorsports. He'll be a teammate of series veteran Landon Cassill.

Earnhardt competed in 17 Nationwide events in 2013. In all, he has a total of 27 series starts.

"I've sort of gotten my feet wet, but I need to be out there every race, getting to know the ins and outs," Earnhardt said. "JD Motorsports with Gary Keller has been there and done that. I think we can do good things together."
