Jeffrey Dean Morgan joins 'Solace' with Colin Farrell and Anthony Hopkins

Heat Vision has learned today that Jeffrey Dean Morgan (TV’s “Supernatural”) has joined Afonso Poyart’s supernatural thriller “Solace,” which already has an incredible cast in Colin Farrell (“Dead Man Down”) and Anthony Hopkins (“Red 2”).

The film centers on a former doctor (Hopkins) whose psychic abilities are put to use in a serial-killer case, only to find that the killer (Farrell) is a psychic as well. This realization leads to a tense game of cat-and-mouse. Morgan plays a veteran FBI agent heading the investigation of a series of grisly murders who recruits Hopkins’ character to help catch the killer.

This is the type of role that Morgan was born for (did you see “Texas Killing Fields?”), and I think with this incredible cast around him he will really get a chance to shine.
