Jefferson County Public Library offers free passes to Denver area attractions

Did you know that if you are a member of the Jefferson County Public Library (JCPL) that you have access to free passes to many metro-Denver cultural institutions?

JCPL members can receive a ‘Culture Pass’ which is your ticket to visit places such as the Denver Firefighters Museum, Dinosaur Ridge, Golden History Museums, Hudson Gardens & Event Center and several other local attractions.

On the JCPL Cultural Pass website, you can book passes up to 30 days in advance and every JCPL member can reserve up to two passes every month. One pass normally accommodates admission for four people.

How can you reserve a pass online? Simply view the available attractions, make your selction, enter your library card number and print your confirmation. You can also call 303-235-5275 to make a pass reservation, but you’ll need to allow seven days for the confirmation to be mailed to you.

Things to keep in mind:

  • A Cultural Pass is only good on the specific date that you choose when confirming your pass.
  • Each card holder can only have one pass booked for the same institution at any given time.
  • Each JCPL card holder is limited to having two passes booked during a 30 day period.
