This fall’s meetings include general district updates at the Coffee with the Superintendent meetings, and updates about the classroom dashboard commonly known as inBloom at the Leading Innovation meetings.
There will also be several candidate forums so voters can learn about the school board candidates before November’s election.
Superintendent Cindy Stevenson will host several “Coffee with the Superintendent” meetings around the district. Stevenson will give an update about the district and take questions from those who attend.
The list includes the following dates and locations:

Thursday, Sept. 19 – Chatfield High School, 9 – 10:30 am
Wednesday, Sept. 25 – Golden High School, 7:30 – 9 am
Wednesday, Oct 2 – Jefferson High School, 8:30 – 10 am
Tuesday, Oct. 8 – Standley Lake High School, 8:30 – 10 am
Wednesday, Oct. 9 – Wheat Ridge High School, 8 – 9:30 am
Wednesday, Oct. 23 – Arvada West High School, 8 – 9:30 am

This fall’s Leading Innovation meetings will introduce participants to the digital “classroom dashboard” known as inBloom that Jeffco Schools is interested in using to more effectively personalize classroom instruction.
The Leading Innovation meetings are scheduled as follows:
Monday, Sept. 16 – Arvada West High School
Wednesday, Sept. 25 – Wheat Ridge High School
Thursday, Sept. 26 – Columbine High School
Wednesday, Oct. 9 – Dakota Ridge High School
All Leading Innovation meetings begin at 5 pm.
The Candidate Forums feature candidates running for a Board of Education seat in Districts 1, 2 and 5 in Jeffco. The forums are sponsored by a variety of Jeffco organizations.
The candidates are Tonya Aultman-Bettridge and Julie Williams for District 1; Jeff Lamontagne and John Newkirk for District 2; and Gordon “Spud” Van de Water and Ken Witt for District 5. Although each candidate will represent a specific part of the county, the vote is county-wide, meaning voters elect candidates for all three districts.
The forums are scheduled as follows:
