Jeff Saturday, Peyton Manning share special moment during Pro Bowl Sunday

Jeff Saturday announced his plans for retirement on Friday. The 2013 Pro Bowl will be his last ride as a player in the NFL. Saturday faced Peyton Manning for the first time since being signed as a free agent in 1999. Saturday requested Manning receive the final snap of his NFL career.

Manning and Saturday played together in Indianapolis for twelve years before the Colts made major changes to their organization following the 2011 season. Manning was signed by the Denver Broncos while Saturday went to play his last season in Green Bay.

"After doing it that long with him, we figured it was our last run together, might as well get one more," Saturday said following his final snap to Manning. "That was something special I'll always remember."

Following the snap, the two former Colts shared a hug and some friendly words. There is no doubt the two formed a strong bond on and off the field in Indianapolis.

As the two embraced, Manning said to Saturday "its been a pleasure, man. An honor an a pleasure."

Saturday wishes for a one-day contract with the Indianapolis Colts so he can retire where his career began.
