Jeff Conaway died on Friday and his dear friend John Travolta is mourning his loss. The two were co-stars in Grease and became friends. Of course it is always hard when someone passes away, and when it happens unexpectedly, many people who have had relationships with the deceased release statements or send messages to share their condolences.
In a statement Travolta referred to the late actor as a "wonderful and decent man" and said "we will miss him." He added, "my heartfelt thoughts are with his family and loved ones at this very difficult time."
Travolta's statement was tasteful and sincere. While he may not have been in contact with Conaway on a regular basis, he does have fond memories of him, and he shares a connection with him that others do not.
Conaway, 60, was a nice guy and people were really pulling for him. Since his appearance on Celebrity Rehab, people got to know him even better, making his passing even more difficult.
