Fans of Jeff Bridges are doing all that they can to convince him to join the Senate race. On Tuesday, New York Daily News shared what was said about him joining the race. There is even a petition out there saying that they want him for the job. People in Montana want him to fill the seat next.

Lizbeth Pratt made the petition. She thinks that he would be great on the Senate. Lizbeth spoke out saying that Bridges is "the only candidate where you could post pictures of him naked, smoking pot" and that not only would it not affect him, but it would probably gain him more votes." She thinks he would be perfect.

The thing is Jeff doesn't have any plans at all to join the race. His wife isn't for it at all. It is pretty obvious that if she doesn't want him to do it then he won't be doing it. Bridges spoke out saying, "I say Sue…Mrs. Senator, and she looks at me and goes 'don't even think about it.'" The people who want him to do the job have to convince Sue and it doesn't look like that will be happening.

Banners on the petition have been changed to try to get the movie actor's wife to agree to let him do it. They now say, "Susan Bridges please say Yes! Montanans need your dude! Lizbeth thinks she will give in eventually because she said, "Every spouse says no before a candidate runs." She went on to say, "Hundreds of people have contacted me to tell me they will volunteer for him. People are designing yard signs, bumper stickers, and buttons now without being asked."

Fans can still dream that Jeff Bridges will become a Senator, but it doesn't look like it will be happening any time soon.
