Jeep to debut three Wrangler concept vehicles at Moab Easter Jeep Safari

Jeep will debut three “moparized” Wranglers at the 48th annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, April 12-20 according to a press release issued today by the storied North American SUV manufacturer. The trail ready Jeep lineup will feature the Wrangler Level Red, the Wrangler MOJO and the Wrangler Maximum Performance. The versatile Jeep JK remains a popular choice of TOAD vehicle amongst the RVing fraternity and there’s frankly no better place to put this iconic 4x4 through its paces than the rugged terrain provided by both Canyonlands and Arches National Parks, both of which lie within spitting distance of Moab in eastern Utah.

Jeep Wrangler Level Red

Modified with a Mopar half-door kit, a nifty paint job and numerous additional exterior and interior upgrades, the Wrangler Level Red is outfitted with 2-inch lift kit and complemented with Dana 44 crate axles and 35-inch BFGoodrich Mud Terrain tires on the front and rear. The rock-Trac transfer case -- providing a 4:1 low range with a 73:1 crawl ratio is -- is coupled to the standard 3.6-liter engine with six-speed manual transmission and has been enhanced by the addition of a cold-air intake and low-restriction exhaust system.

Jeep Wrangler MOJO

Boasting a 59:1 crawl ratio, the orange-hued Jeep Wrangler MOJO caters to those off-road enthusiasts looking to tackle the most extreme trails. The 2-inch lift is supplemented by locking Dana 44 front and rear axles, 37-inch BFGoodrich Mud Terrain tires, and a 4:1 Rock-Trac transfer case whilst the vehicle’s 3.6-liter V-6 engine is augmented with a cold air intake and low restriction exhaust system.

Jeep Wrangler Maximum Performance

Hard-core off-road enthusiasts will likely make a beeline for the Jeep Wrangler Maximum Performance. Equipped with a 4-inch lift kit, 37-inch BFGoodrich Mud Terrain tires, push-button electric-locking Dana 60 axles at the front and rear, as well as 4.88 gearing and a 4:1 Rock-Trac transfer case, this is a 4x4 that’s clearly designed to go where other off-road vehicles fear to tread.

With its “Stinger” front bumper, front bumper skid plate, rock rails, prototype flattop fender kit and an impressive 70:1 crawl ratio, the Jeep Wrangler Maximum Performance can clearly handle whatever the challenging Utah terrain can mete out.
