Do the Los Angeles Lakers now have an inside track on re-signing Phil Jackson as their head coach? Probably not, as he's been involved with longtime girlfriend Jeanie Buss for 12 years. That being said, the couple is finally engaged.
Buss tweeted an image of a ring with a huge rock on Thursday. Along with the image was the message:

Jeanie Buss, for those who don't know, is the daughter of Lakers owner Jerry Buss. She is also the executive vice president of the team.
However, it's known that Jackson is being courted to become the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets.
Jackson previously coached the Nets when they were the New Jersey Nets, from 1978 - 1980. His most recent success came as the head coach of the Lakers, from 1999 - 2004 and 2005 - 2011. He is currently listed as retired, however.
Jackson has five children and seven grandchildren. He married his first wife, Maxine, in 1967, but they divorced in 1972. He married his second wife, June, in 1974, but they also divorced. He has been dating Jeanie Buss since 2001.
