French fashion designer presented his Jean-Paul Gaultier Fall/Winter 2013 Ready-to-Wear collection in a much-anticipated fashion show for Paris Fashion Week on March 2, 2013 in Paris, France.

Jean-Paul Gaultier apparently wanted his autumnal collection represented by a group of models who sported multi-colored choppy hairstyles, achieved with the use of wigs.

Something unique in the Jean-Paul Gaultier Fall/Winter 2013 Ready-to-Wear collection is his orange, black and yellow silhouette print that looks like a series of motion picture negatives.

Alternatively, the silhouette print is available in plum, olive, black and white. The faux fur-trimmed hip-length jacket in this combination is particularly adorable! Interestingly, the backdrop for the fashion show was a sort of wallpaper of the print in red, white and black.

Speaking of furs, Jean-Paul Gaultier’s rust colored fox coat is worthy of mention with its 1970’s inspiration. The full-length burgundy leather coat also looks promising as does the ivory colored coat…

Then for something unusual, there’s the karakul finish grey hooded dress, which is belted at the waist with a belt that looks more like a corset due to its thick width.

The burgundy and black striped chiffon dress makes a nice cocktail dress for the evening and the khaki trench coat is a definite winner for outerwear. Nicely done Jean-Paul Gaultier in this Fall 2013 collection!
