French designer Jean-Paul Gaultier created a capsule collection for Swedish brand Lindex to celebrate its sixth anniversary. Lindex will donate 10% of the proceed to the fight against breast cancer
Lindex has been one of the top leading fashion chains in Europe. The company was started in the 60's by Ingemar Boman and Bengt Rosell and became to expand in the 70's and 80's in Norway, Denmark, Great Britain and Finland. It is owned by Finnish company Stockmann.
Lindex currently has close to 500 stores in Nordic countries, the Baltic States, Russia, Central Europe and the Middle East with its focus on offering inspiring and affordable fashion.
The details of the collection has not been disclosed but is said to be a reinterpretation of Jean-Paul Gaultier bold designs as affordable ready-to-wear for women and children. The collection will also include accessories and lingerie. The collection is set to launch October 8 on the brand’s international online store as well as in its 470 stores located in sixteen countries.
Other Lindex collaboration include celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe and actress Reese Witherspoon.
