Jealous Billy Ray trying to steal Miley Cyrus' spotlight?
Miley Cyrus and her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, may not have the best relationship right now. New rumors have a jealous Billy Ray trying to hog Miley's spotlight, which was the reasoning behind his "explosive" GQ interview. (See photos of Miley here.)
According to Us Weekly, Billy Ray Cyrus "pushed" Miley into being a star and was later upset when he didn't get as much attention has his daughter. "He was always upset he didn't get as much as attention as Miley," a source revealed "This is his way of stealing the spotlight."
Billy Ray famously opened up about his family troubles to GQ Magazine, saying that he's very scared for his daughter, and that he wishes he could take back letting Miley star in the hit Disney series.
However, another source says that Billy Ray should be grateful to Miley and the Disney series "Hannah Montana" for reviving his career. After his country music career fizzled, "Hannah Montana" put Billy Ray Cyrus back on the map, all the while skyrocketing Miley's career. "Let's face it: Hannah Montana revived his career as much as it made Miley's," a insider revealed.
What do you think? Is Billy Ray Cyrus jealous of Miley Cyrus' fame? Did "Hannah Montana" ruin their family?
