Last night, I had the pleasure of attending the exclusive launch party for new junior's clothing line L'Amour Nanette Lepore. To celebrate he new collaborative collection between fashion designer Nanette Lepore and retailer jcpenney, they threw a party at the underground hotspot, Good Units.
Guests enjoyed music spun by Alexandra Richards, sipped on specialty cocktails, played old school arcade games, all while viewing the new collection. VIP guests included Nanette Lepore, her daughter Violet Lepore, Vanessa Hudges, Shay Mitchell, and Emma Kenney to name a few. The decor matched the fun L'Amour clothing line with fun colors draped around the main room and slinkies hanging from the ceiling as you entered the venue.
“Because my muse is my amazing daughter Violet, the l’amour nanette lepore brand will
embody the energy and vitality of her generation,” said Nanette Lepore. “As jcpenney evolves, I can’t think of a better retailer to bring this brand to life. Soon, every young fashionista will have the opportunity to add a little l’amour to her wardrobe.” The design partnership with Nanette Lepore was announced today in New York City, where the Company unveiled its vision to transform jcpenney into America’s favorite store. The l’amour nanette lepore brand will be one of more than 100 shops and attractions that will revolutionize the jcpenney shopping experience.
The l’amour nanette lepore brand will debut as its own distinct shop beginning February 2013.
