Jazzy’s Café is quickly becoming a Tacoma favorite. Located on South Lawrence Street, the café is an unexpected getaway in a very industrial area. The Café opened one year ago in December 2011. Since, it has become known for its coffee, wine, and gourmet sandwiches. However, this café goes above and beyond by providing events, meetings, networking events, and more. The conference room can be rented for $25 per hour. This includes room for 15 people, Wi-Fi, projectors, conference calling, and unlimited coffee, tea, or water. The whole venue can also be rented for $200. This price includes setup, cleanup, and two attendants. General Manager D’Misha Miller claims that providing these services helps to incorporate Jazzy’s into the small business community. They also provide catering services.
Their menu includes drinks such as smoothies, frappes, espressos, beer, and wine. In the deli you can find pastries like cinnamon rolls or muffins, bagels in various flavors, and various gourmet sandwiches. Some include the classic club, chipotle chicken, and capese (mozerella, basil, pesto mayo, and more!).
This budding business is quickly replacing the now-gone Mandolin Café. The ambiance is a must, especially during the chilly winter nights. Visit on a Friday to hear live music.
