JazzReach returns to Northern California

JazzReach is reaching out to Northern California in the new year.
Founded in 1997 and based in New York, JazzReach is dedicated to fostering the music through concerts, clinics and school presentations. And, as its website notes, the organization has met with some success in that regard.

JazzReach has successfully positioned itself as one of our nation's leading arts organizations dedicated to jazz. Our dynamic, innovative programs have triumphantly served over 170,000 young people nationwide in partnership with many of America's most prominent performing arts presenters and have received unanimous praise from students, teachers, parents, the media and arts professionals alike.

You can check out JazzReach when it arrives in Northern California for dates at Saratoga’s Montalvo Arts Center (February 3), Santa Rosa’s Wells Fargo Performing Arts Center (February 4) and the Brubeck Institute at Stockton’s University of the Pacific (February 5-7). Suffice it to say, JazzReach and its musicians deserve the support of jazz fans everywhere for their efforts to keep our music alive.
