Live Jazz Music and amazing 5-course Gourmet Dinner at Boca hot spot.

Looking for a cool new way to celebrate New Year’s Eve? There's many options available, as most of the area’s restaurants & bars offer some type of NYE special. But for true foodies and real music fans alike, the best NYE gig around has got to be the kick-A party at Jazziz Nightlife in Boca Raton. Jazziz opened this year in Mizner Park (near Yard House and Tanzy). Offering the only live jazz music venue around, along with its world-class cuisine, killer bar scene, and uber-cool setting, Jazziz has become Boca’s new "Must Do" hot spot. And for NYE, Executive Chef Justin Flit is pulling out all the stops, with a five-course pre-fixe menu truly worthy of praise – with live jazz musicians providing the festive entertainment.

The opening round offers a sensational seafood triple, starring the prized Kumamoto Oysters enlightened with a hit of tropical yuzu; plus Nantucket Bay Scallop Ceviche, and also Chilled Maine Lobster. (OK, I’m already sold!). Then cleanse your palate with a local Heirloom Tomato Salad with housemade whipped ricotta, brioche croutons, and a light basil vinaigrette (housemade, of course).

Moving on to the main course, dive into succulent Pan Seared Diver Scallops, accompanied by an autumnal chestnut risotto (yum!), butternut squash, and luxurious black truffles. But wait -- the best is yet to come! Chef Justin then presents beef duo (featuring the acclaimed Allen Brothers beef): A prized Dry-Aged Prime New York Strip with sun-choke creamed spinach; plus some forever-Braised Short Ribs with Yukon gold potato whipped potatoes. For the finale, indulge in a refreshing champagne poached D’anjou pear with Knaus Berry Farm Strawberry Sorbet, or a decadent Valrhona Chocolate & Raspberry Truffle Cake (from Jazziz’ in-house pastry chef). Wow, what a meal. Makes you wish New Year’s Eve happened more often!. Then stick around for the live jazz, dancing, champagne toast, and general frivolity. As co-owner Michael Fagien notes, "We wanted to make this New Year's Eve at Jazziz a truly memorable event." I'd say, "Mission accomplished."

Two seating options are available, at 7:00 and 10:00. Both include champagne and party favors -- plus of course the live jazz music, and also a midnight champagne toast for the late seating. Seats are selling fast, so better you’re your reservations quick! Complete dinner & show tickets are $100 for the 7:00 seating, $150 for the 10:00. You can also dig the live music, festivities, and even midnight champagne toast without the meal, with a general admission ticket for only $25 in advance ($50 after 9:30 pm).
Jazziz Nightlife is located at 201 Plaza Real, in Mizner Park in Boca Raton, Florida. Covered valet parking is available. To reserve tickets or for more information, call (561) 300-0730; or visit
