Beyonce recently turned 29-years-old, and Page Six is reporting today that her husband, rapper Jay-Z, threw her an "intimate" party over the weekend in New York City to celebrate.
The private bash happened at a Chelsea restaurant that's not even open for business yet. In attendance were Alicia Keys, Serena Williams, Kanye West, and Sean "Diddy" Combs, who was reportedly the last to leave at around 6 a.m.
There was a six-layer cake and a DJ playing Stevie Wonder. Noticeably absent from the gathering was the native Houstonian's father and sister. Solange did post a happy birthday message to Beyonce on her Twitter page Saturday, but made no mention of the party.
