As if hip-hop king Jay Z wasn't enough. The crowd at the DirecTV Super Bowl party at New York's Pier 40 stadium Saturday night were treated with a special surprise. As USA Today reports on Feb. 2, Beyonce showed up to crash the party and amp the party up just a bit more.

Following their Grammy night performance, rumors were already swirling that Beyonce would show up and she did. At around 12:50 a.m. the Grammy winning Jay Z asked the crowed, "any sexy ladies in New York City tonight!". After repeating it, out strutted a stunning Beyonce.

"Make some noise for Queen Bey!" shouted Jay Z.

Beyonce came out and rapped with her husband as the two showed just way they are one of the more successful couples in the world of entertainment. They are so good together that even some of the stars in the audience were both surprised and excited with Queen Bey crashing the event.

CBS This Morning co-anchor Gayle King were amongst the stars. And who would've known that she was such a big fan of Jay Z.

"I've seen Jay Z five, six, maybe nine times. I even flew to Paris one time to see him. I think he's so smart. I think his lyrics are so great."

She added that the Brooklyn born rapper performing in New York was "something special". As was Beyonce sharing the stage with him.
