There’s no better way to kick off the New Year than seeing Jay-Z and Coldplay Live.
To ring in 2013, Jay-Z and Coldplay co-headlined a New Year’s Eve concert at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin sang “Auld Lang Syne” as balloons showered the audience. In the clip, Martin’s kids and wife Gwyneth Paltrow are also seen celebrating. Jay-Z and the band then go straight into “Run This Town.”
In addition to his own set, the hip-hop god joined Coldplay for their collaboration "Lost+" earlier in the evening. Beyoncé, Christina Aguilera, Taylor Swift and One Direction’s Harry Styles were also in the house for the NYE festivities.
