On Jan. 13 Radar Online reports that Beyonce and Jay-Z payed $200,000 for Blue Ivy's first birthday party. The couple threw her a princess themed party for friends and family at their home where they they dropped $95,000 on the finest pink and white roses alone! The cake cost them an additional $2,000, however, nobody has seen what a one-year-old's $2,000 birthday cake looks like.
What was even more shocking for fans of the couple was that they paid $30,000 for gifts and toys for guests. Isn't that supposed to the other way around? The really surprising money drop was actually on the gift that Beyonce and Jay-Z purchased for their daughter, a diamond encrusted Barbie Doll that was custom made for her! The over-the-top expense set the couple back $80,000 for their daughter's first birthday. It makes fans wonder how they will ever be able to top it in the future.
It seems completely insane to think that a one-year-old's birthday party could cost so much, no matter how much money you have to spend on it. There was no mention of who made the guest list, but it is likely that they were all A-listers as well as this celebrity couple.
