Jay Peak Resort records record snowfall, open for extended weekend

Jay Peak Resort received around 18 inches of snow during yesterday's record snowfall, which is rare for this time of the season. Snow continues to fall and is expected to end sometime late tonight. The forecast calls for anoter 4 to 6 inches to fall on the resort today.

Jay Peak Resort announced that it will be opening its lifts for an extended weeking of skiing and snowboarding.

Lifts are set to open on Thursday morning at 9 am, April 29th through Sunday. The resort will access the trails to maintain safety.


A special rate of $39 for adults and $29 for Juniors is available and this includes lunch in the Tower Bar.

Jay Peak Resort is also offering a special weekend stay for $69 pp/do to stay in either the Tram Haus Lodge or a slopeside condominium. This rate includes lodging and lift tickets.
