New Jersey homeboy Jay Mohr is in the house at the Borgata Music Box, Friday night, February 3. Jay is an actor/stand-up comedian and if he looks familiar to you, that's because you've probably seen him in TV's Saturday Night Live, The Jeff Foxworthy Show, Ghost Whisperer, Gary Unmarried or as Bob Sugar in the hit movie Jerry Maguire.
Born in Verona, New Jersey, Jay always wanted to be a comedian. He did the college and comedy club circuit before breaking into national TV as a featured player on Saturday Night Live from 1993-1995. He does really good impersonations, too. Two of his most famous (or infamous, as the case may be!) are of actors Christopher Walken and Sean Penn.
WARNING! Jay's comedy is not for the faint of heart. He uses strong language and takes on controversial issues, sometimes very inappropriately. He is definitely not politically correct. If you're easily offended, you may want to try a different show. But if you like really funny stuff Joisey style and words don't bother you, you will love Jay! The featured video clip about his trip to Scotland carries a very mild language alert; however, his shows can get down and dirty at times. It should be noted that Jay is of Scottish descent so he's picking on his own here. He does take pot shots at just about anybody and everybody in his routines, though. You have been warned!
