Men have dominated the late-night talk show scene for years. Jimmy Fallon is one of the most popular comedic geniuses of the time and his fan base spans quite a few generations. In 2014 Jimmy Fallon will become the new host of “The Tonight Show,” taking the torch from Jay Leno. According to a Dec. 6 report from Broadway World, Jay Leno turned up at a comedy show Jimmy Fallon was hosting. It was a pleasant surprise for fans of both comedians.

In February 2014 Jimmy Fallon will officially become the host of “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” and Seth Meyers will inherit “Late Night.” This news has had fans excited for months. Followers of the show and Fallon himself dub themselves, “Falpals.” Twitter goes crazy when the show airs and there is a huge fan base for the comedian with or without his own show. Fallon has touched people all over and is one of the most-liked stars in the business today.

The official start date for “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” is February 17, 2014. It will air on the NBC network at 10:35 p.m. CST.
