Jay Leno's retirement could be coming soon. On March 2, Zap 2 It reported that Jay could be retiring as soon as 2014. Would you miss him if he was to quit night time television?
The rumor is that he will finish out the rest of this year and that Jimmy Fallon will take over for him for the 2014-2015 season. This would be a big change up for NBC. So far they won't admit to anything so it is unknown if this is really going to happen or just rumor for them all.
Jay Leno is up against Jimmy Kimmel and this does hurt him in the time slot. This could be part of the reason for the change up, but it sounds like Leno is just ready to be done and retire from his job.
