In 1994 the film industry was changed forever as Kevin Smith burst onto the scene with his cult hit Clerks featuring the now iconic pot smoking degenerates with hearts of gold Jay and Silent Bob.
Throughout the years these simplistic characters of brilliance have made numerous films, TV appearances, comics, and a short lived animated series that was under appreciated. Fans have hoped to see these characters again in some form, but it was starting to look as though Smith had moved on to bigger and better things, but that’s all about to change.
If you’ve ever seen any of the animated sequences of the online series Spoilers or the SModimations series then you will surely recognize this unique animated look of the recently announced animated film Jay and Silent Bob’s Super Groovy Cartoon Movie. Much like his previous film Red State, they will be touring this sure to be a cult hit animated film around the country starting May 18th.
