Jason West, former Infinity Ward president and co-creator, has retired from the newly established Respawn Entertainment, a company founded after legal issues with parent company Activision forced Jason West and Vincent Zampella out.
According to Polygon, West's retirement was related to family issues over the course of the past couple of months, and in no way related to the company. West has been reportedly MIA for quite some time now.
No word yet on if this has effected development of Respawn Entertainment's latest game, but it's interesting to note that just last week, Zampella announced that the studio would be at E3 this year and not show up "empty handed," via twitter.
Respawn has yet to comment officially so be sure to subscribe to me here and follow me on twitter @NicholasGigante, as this story is still developing.
