Tickets went on sale on Tuesday for the Liquid Nation Ball 7, the official fundraiser for the SIMA Humanitarian Fund. On August 14, the Surf Industry Manufacturers Association (SIMA) will be honoring Jason Mraz as the 2010 SIMA Humanitarian of the Year.
"As one of hundreds of thousands to be motivated by impactful organizations such as Life Rolls On, I'm humbled to be chosen as the SIMA Humanitarian of the Year," Jason Mraz said.
Mraz has been a huge supporter of Life Rolls On, having performed a benefit concert earlier this year to help raise funds for Jesse Billauer's foundation that supports spinal cord injury victims. He has also lent his support to organizations like VH1's Save The Music, The Grammy Foundation's Musicares, and the arts program, SPARC, in his hometown near Richmond, Virginia.
The Liquid Nation Ball 7 will take place in La Jolla, California at the oceanfront home of Liquid Nation Ball chairman and co-founder, Fernando Aguerre, who will have one of the best private surfboard collections on display.
Tickets are $300 per person and only 375 tickets will be sold. For ticket information, visit liquid-nation.com.
