Jason Mraz performs at Feeding the Soul CD release party (Video)

Jason Mraz made a surprise appearance at a local San Diego benefit concert on Saturday night for the Feeding the Soul Foundation. To celebrate the release of their first CD, Feeding the Soul, Volume 1: Family Dinner, the organization sponsored a concert featuring many local area musicians including Alex Woodard, Bushwalla, Dawn Mitschele, Jessie Payo, Tristan Prettyman, The Makepeace Brothers, MC Flow, Parker Ainsworth and Raining Jane.

Jason Mraz, wearing a suit jacket and his trademark hat, sang his ballad "A Beautiful Mess" accompanied by all-girl group, Raining Jane. Girlfriend and singer/songwriter, Tristan Prettyman, joined Mraz for the duet "All I Want for Christmas Is Us."

Mraz also sang a new song called "High Friend" with local singers, The Natters. (Watch YouTube video to the left) This song is also featured on the Feeding the Soul Vol. 1 CD with performing credits by "Day Old Johnson" (Mraz's alias) & The Natters.
