David Bowie and The Beastie Boys have done it. Now it's Jason Mraz's turn. Beginning this Sept., Mraz will launch a New York City performance tour. Mraz will travel to (and perform in) all five boroughs in New York City: Manhattan, Brooklyn, The Bronx, Queens and Staten Island.

"The Five Boroughs Tour" starts the North American part of Mraz's effort to perform and promote his new album, Yes! The San Diego native announced his east coast residency Wednesday morning (fittingly) at a Big Apple landmark: the Empire State Building. Mraz reports that he will return to Radio City Music Hall for performances on Sept. 22 and 23.

Before hitting Manhattan hard, Mraz will share his musical talents on Sept. 17 at the Brooklyn Center for Performing Arts; Sept. 18 at Bronx's Lehman Center for the Performing Arts; Sept. 19 at Queens College's Colden Museum Kupferberg Center for the Arts and finally on Sept. 20 at Staten Island's St. George Theatre.

Jason Mraz is loved worldwide for his influential music. He worked his way from performing in coffee lounges in San Diego to large arenas and stadiums worldwide. Mraz is a two-time GRAMMY® Award winner and six-time nominee. Mraz made pop music history with his single, "I'm Yours." He earned platinum and multi-platinum certifications in more than 20 countries.

Mraz is quite a character. He is a surfer, gardener, filmmaker as well as a photographer. Mraz is dedicated to social activism and is a well-known philanthropist. He is passionate about environmental advocacy and a huge supporter of LGBT equality.

Above all, Jason Mraz creates uniquely relatable and creative music that continues to engage audiences throughout the world on different levels.

“The Five Boroughs Tour” closes with the two nights at Radio City Music Hall on Sept. 22-23. Tickets for all the five borough shows go on sale July 21.
