Jason Mraz performed "I'm Yours" at the ceremony accompanied by his fellow bandmate and percussionist, Toca Rivera. The event, attended by over 700 leading songwriters, recording artists and music industry leaders, also paid special tribute to Patti Smith and The Killers, as well as songwriters and publishers behind some of today’s most popular songs.
While accepting his award, Jason Mraz commented: "Songwriters are crazy people and I'm grateful that there are organizations out there that keep us crazy people in business."
