This Saturday, September 14th, 2014 marks the return of the Jason Krause "Kick" Cancer Fundraiser at Kennelly's Grill House in Congers, NY.
The event, which starts at 2pm, was launched in memory of Krause, who was a star soccer player at Clarkstown North High School who succumbed to brain cancer at the age of 33 in 2008. Attendees will enjoy the company of New York baseball greats, David Cone, Cecil Fielder, and John Franco, as well as Ken Daneyko of the New Jersey Devils and the legendary boxer, Gerry Cooney.
Tickets are $40 for adults and $10 for children, which includes a full BBQ, wine, beer and soft drinks. Supporters will also have the opportunity to win two pairs of tickets to “The Big Game” in New York in February, 2014. The funds raised from the day’s efforts will support two great causes - The Jason Krause "Kick" Cancer Scholarship and Jason K: A Matter of Hope at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
Last year’s event was attended by over 300 people in the small Rockland county enclave. This year’s fundraiser looks to be even bigger and brighter.
