Recently "Real Housewives of New York City" star Bethenny Frankel announced that she was splitting from her husband Jason Hoppy after less than two years of marriage. TMZ reported on Saturday, Jan. 5 that Bethenny Frankel has filed for a divorce.
Last month sources claimed that there was trouble in Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy's marriage because of her career. Bethenny appeared to be more interested in building a mogul empire than focusing on making her marriage successful.

Bethenny Frankel eventually took to Twitter to confirm that sources were correct and her and Jason Hoppy were going through a separation.
"It brings me great sadness to say that Jason and I are separating. This was an extremely difficult decision that as a woman and a mother, I have to accept as the best choice for our family. Bethenny Frankel tweeted to her fans."
Radar Online also reported that the "Real Housewives of New York City" star took their two-year-old daughter Bryn to Aspen on a vacation while her soon to be ex-husband Jason Hoppy moved out of their $5 million home.
"Jason is in the process of moving out of their $5 million pad," a source close to the situation says. "It's not a healthy situation for them to be leaving under the same roof together because Bethenny doesn't intend on getting back together with him."
Shortly after Bethenny returned from vacation with her daughter earlier this week she filed for divorce in New York.
