Jason Hawes sad buddy Grant Wilson not at his side, but maintains friendship

Jason Hawes may seem tough as nails during the filming of “Ghost Hunters”, but he has a soft side too.

According to an interview with Hollywood Soapbox published on February 8, Hawes is sad that Grant Wilson isn’t by his side on “Ghost Hunters” anymore.

Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson, co-founders of The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS), worked side by side as lead investigators on “Ghost Hunters” for eight years. Until last spring when Grant Wilson decided to leave the show to pursue other interests, Jay and Grant had become a household word – at least in paranormal circles.

As lead investigators on SyFy’s hit paranormal series “Ghost Hunters”, the two traveled across the U.S. to investigate haunted locations. Eventually the vigorous schedule began to take a toll on Grant and he decided to leave “Ghost Hunters”.

When asked about his relationship with his long-time friend, Jason explained that he and Grant continue to talk on a daily basis. He says their friendship existed long before the show and would continue long afterward.

Hawes added “… it’s sad that he’s not there, standing beside me, like he did for so many years, from the show’s perspective.”

Grant Wilson is currently the art director for Rather Dashing Games.
