Jason Davis arrested for cocaine, is Celebrity Rehab really helping anyone?

Jason "Gummy Bear" Davis was arrested Thursday night in Newport Beach, California for possession of a controlled substance.

Ironically, his arrest comes just one day after Davis was on a live Celebrity Rehab reunion show where Jason claimed that he was clean.

Jason, who is the brother of Brandon Davis, has had addiction problems for years and has been busted for heroin before.

The rich single bachelor was featured on Patti Stanger's Millionaire Matchmaker in 2010 trying to find someone to love.  Needless to say, he went home empty handed.

Did Jason's time on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew help him at all?  Does Dr. Drew help anyone?  Scroll down and post your opinion below.

Rehab gives you tools...it's everyone to use the tools. It isn't magic..it's work.

I do believe that Celebrity Rehab does work if you want to get Clean and Sober. You have to work the program and surrender to your addiction. Their are many success stories and if Jason Davis is going to be the focus that the show and program is a failure that is not right. Jason Davis has to want to be clean and sober and it appears that he isn't ready to get clean and sober. Many of the celebrities that have received treatment from Dr. Drew Pinsky have successfully completed treatment and contunued to work the program by going into a sober living environment. Once they have completed that program; they go out into the real world and start working, living their lifes and continue to work the program. Look at Tom Sizemore, Mike from "Alice in Chains" Mckenzie Phillips, Janice Dickenson, Jeremy London, the drummer from Guns and Roses have all been successful; which tells me the program works if you want to get clean and sober. Jason Davis unfortunately is going to be in the news and the Headline will read "Jason Davis Dies of a Drug Overdose" Jason is Young, Jason has many Health Issue's and he is a Drug Addict. None o us will be surprised when this happens. I am rooting for the people who want to get well and who are working the program and want to be suffessful and regain control of their lives. Of course this rehab program helps people. Addiction is a cunning disease. The addict has to learn to live a life of sobriety; which means they have to acquire skills to stay clean. Many people relapse, but that doesn't mean that the program isn't working.
