Jason Bare recently announced the digital release of his latest CD, Love Is Alive. The project marks the third release from the singer, songwriter and worship leader, which is now available at online retailers, including iTunes, Amazon and CDBaby, with a brick and mortar release set to follow.
With the new project, Bare partnered with a number of Christian music industry veterans, including producers Luke Buishas and Aaron Rice, whose songwriting credits include artists such as Mandisa, TobyMac, Rachel Lampa and Kerrie Roberts, among others.
While Bare co-wrote every song on the project, he was joined by a number of notable songwriters, including Jennie Lee Riddle ("Revelation Song"), Jason Dyba, Brandon Collins, Brian Campbell, along with Buishas and Rice. Bare teamed up with guest vocalist Jeannie Ortega on “Love is Alive.” He is also joined by guest vocalist Jennifer McGill on “Everlasting God” and “Miracle Maker.”
Standouts include “God of All,” “More Than Enough,” “When I'm Found In You,” “Bigger,” “Lamb of God,” “Let It Be Praise” and the title track “Love Is Alive.”
“ ‘God of All’ is by far one of my favorite songs on the album,” Bare said. “It is clearly our innermost worshiper crying out to the most-high God, and I think it was a turning point for this record.”
As an independent artist, Bare joins a growing list of musicians – like Shaun Groves, Thousand Foot Krutch, John Schlitt and Cheri Keaggy – who have funded their latest CD’s through Kickstarter. In July 2013, the project was successfully funded, when Bare’s supporters helped him surpass the $6,000 Kickstarter campaign goal.
To help promote the new release, Bare attended the 2014 National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) convention, which was held on February 22-24 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville. During the convention, he conducted interviews with media and met with a number of top industry leaders.
"NRB is always an exciting time for me. This year was especially fun for me as it coincided with the release of my new project, 'Love Is Alive.' It was so good to connect with many of my friends in the radio and television communities, and share my new music with them all,"Bare said.
In the midst of recording, touring and being honored with a host of awards and accolades, Bare has appeared on multiple television networks including TBN, JCTV and CTN. He has also toured extensively throughout the United States and South Africa. For more about Love Is Alive, the latest news and tour dates, go to www.jasonbare.com.
