First comes ‘The Bachelor,’ then comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a baby in a baby carriage. This has indeed been the case for former bachelor Jason Mesnick, and his wife Molly. In an article dated, Thursday, March 14, the couple confirmed the news to People.
Riley Anne Mesnick was born Thursday afternoon in Seattle, Washington. Their new little bundle of joy weighed in at 6 lbs., 8 oz., and is 18 ¾ inches long.
“Riley has a full head of hair. Probably more than I’ll have in the next few years,” Jason, 36, told People.
“What’s amazing to me is when Molly is holding Riley, her eyes do not come off her. I’m already seeing how much Molly loves the baby,” continued Mesnick.
Mesnick also dished that a friend had texted him Wednesday claiming that if a woman’s feet are massaged – specifically the area between the ankle and the Achilles – the mom-to-be will go into labor.
“I did it last night for about three minutes and Molly woke me up about three this morning, after she’d been up for about an hour and a half, so maybe it does work?” revealed Jason.
The former bachelor already had a son, Tyler 8, from a previous marriage. This is the couple’s first child together.
“Ty has been asking for a sibling for so long. He was here earlier holding her and kissing her and it was really, really cute. We’re so happy,” concluded Mesnick.
Bachelor fans are hoping that Sean and Catherine will be another success. Though we have to watch them get to the altar first, it may not be too long before we are meeting baby Lowe as well.
