Country superstar Jason Aldean learned that his current single, "The Only Way I Know" has become his seventh consecutive #1 this week. "The Only Way I Know," which features fellow country stars Luke Bryan and Eric Church, takes the top spot on both the Billboard and Mediabase charts. The song is Aldean's second single from "Night Train," and is his 11th chart-topper of his career.
"Having Eric and Luke come sing on this track with me was one of the highlights of recording the album," said Aldean in a press release. "We are buddies off the road and outside of the music business, so this one is extra special for me. After my first No. one song back in 2006, I worried I may never have another one. Thankfully, we've been able to rack up a few of them in a row recently, and I have a lot of people to thank for that."
Jason is putting the final touches on his 2013 Night Train Tour, which will kick off on Feb. 21 in Bossier City, LA with stops in 24 cities through May, including a show in New York City's Madison Square Garden, which sold out in less than 10 minutes.
The 2013 Night Train Tour will stop in Wheatland at the Sleep Train Amphitheatre on Oct. 11. The show is currently on sale as part of the 2013 Megaticket through Live Nation. The Megaticket features the same seat for five big name shows at one price. The shows that are part of the Megaticket are:
- Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley with Randy Houser and Joanna Smith on Fri., May 10.
- Luke Bryan with Thompson Square and Florida Georgia Line on Thu., Aug. 8.
- Brad Paisley with Chris Young and Lee Brice on Fri., Aug. 23.
- Keith Urban with Little Big Town and Dustin Lynch on Sun., Sep. 22.
- Jason Aldean with Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett on Fri., Oct. 11
