Jasmine Pilchard-Gosnell, Paul Walker's girlfriend, has piqued the interest of the public since his death last Saturday. The 23-year-old Santa Barbara college student has had to endure heavy press coverage of not only losing her boyfriend, but for the world to watch how she mourns over him.
TMZ had a slideshow of images that showed Jasmine standing outside Walker's home in Santa Barbara on Tuesday. Photos of the Jasmine were published Dec. 4 on the celebrity news site. As anyone would feel losing someone they love, Jasmine was pictured in a highly emotional state. She was seen being comforted by someone, but it's unknown who he is. The photos are heartbreaking to look at as a young woman deals with the devastating loss of a man she loved so deeply.
Walker's girlfriend is likely unaccustomed to this type of attention, but the public is very intrigued as they mourn along with her.
Jasmine learned of Paul Walker's death when Jim Torp, someone Walker worked with on Saturday's charity event, told her about it. Torp's son called and told him about the fatal accident.
"When I told her what happened, she fell, she collapsed," Torp said.
Paul Walker met Jasmine Pilchard-Gosnell when he was 33 and she was 16. They had a seven-year relationship that worked well despite their 17-year age difference.
