The actor and vocalist of 30 Seconds to Mars is reportedly being considered for the role of Dr. Stephen Strange in a new "Marvel Comics" movie. "The Dr. Strange" character, who first appeared in the 1960's, is a former neurosurgeon now in charge of protecting the earth from all magical and mystical threats. It would be interesting to see Leto in a superhero role, which is something he hasn't done before. The Academy and Oscar winning actor is said to be selective about his acting roles, but if offered, this is one he probably won't pass up.

Leto had been on a five year acting hiatus to concentrate on 30 Seconds to Mars, which released it's fourth album Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams in 2013. In between touring and directing short films, he also made his return to the big screen in "Dallas Buyers' Club." Whether it works out with Marvel or not, you can be sure that whatever Leto does next will be worth the wait.
