Jared Leto got a big boost for his acting career on Sunday night at the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards. The entertainer won best supporting actor in a movie for "Dallas Buyers Club” and he was very excited for the win. While the star might have been surprised, there was one star who wasn’t very surprised at the announcement and that was Ellen DeGeneres. She shared the news with her fans on social media.

“You deserve it. Congratulations @JaredLeto. And you look very handsome. #GoldenGIobes,” tweeted Ellen DeGeneres from her official Twitter account. The star wanted everyone to know that she told Jared Leto over a year ago that his moment on screen was going to be honored.

Jared Leto was up against some fierce competition for the category too. Barkhad Abdi, Daniel Bruhl, Bradley Cooper and Michael Fassbender. Bradley Cooper has such a huge fan base, that he was the presumed favorite to win. Dark horse or not, Jared burst on the scene with tremendous talent.

What most people don’t realize is how talented Jared Leto is off screen too. Part of 30 Seconds to Mars, the vocal powerhouse can belt out a song and has a strong following in the music field too. Of course, not that viewers can see what he can do on screen, many are suggested this multi-talented star should consider pictures that are musicals or reflect biographies of artists.
