Jared Dudley to miss second straight game for Phoenix Suns

The Suns will be without a key piece to their offense for Monday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. For the second straight game, Jared Dudley won't play because of a strained wrist, according to ArizonaSports.com writer Craig Grialou.

Dudley injured the wrist going for a loose ball in Friday's loss to the Brooklyn Nets, but still managed to play 40+ minutes. Dudley's wrist is improving and the swelling has gone down, but the Suns swing player still can't bend it all the way back. He should be good to go for Thursday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks.

JD's injury means Shannon Brown will earn another start. In Sunday's win in the Windy City, Brown scored 11 points in 25 minutes of play. It also means more playing time for Wes Johnson , who has seen a bump in minutes from Alvin Gentry over the past week.

Whenever you face a team like the Thunder, arguably the best team in the Western Conference, you want to have all your weapons healthy, but the Suns won't have that luxury tonight. If they want to grab a upset win, they will have to get quality bench play and an impressive defensive effort like the one they received the other night in Chicago.
