Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki made their way down the red carpet to the Nokia Theater tonight for the 39th Annual People’s Choice Awards. Jensen rocked a purple suit while Jared coordinated with a purple tie on his casual button down jacket. On each of their arms were their stunning wives. Genevieve Padalecki looked gorgeous in a low cut purple dress, while Danneel Ackles brought in the glamour with her golden dress complete with the baby bump. Just days ago the couple announced that she was expecting their first baby. The boys posed in front of hundreds of screaming fans which luckily was streamed live across the world.
The awards show began with exceedingly adorable Kaley Cuoco putting smiles on the viewer’s faces with her Twilight and Hunger Games skits. She even had the chance to kill zombies "Gangnam Style,” as she officially opened the awards show. Lucky Supernatural fans did not have to wait long to see their favorite hunters. Looking incredible in purple, Jensen started out with a big thank you to Eric Kripke, Bob Singer, Jeremy Carver. With his hair perfectly tucked behind his ears, Jared finished if off by thanking their families and their beautiful wives, and of course, their loyal fans. Sounding like he was a bit under the weather from a cold, Jared could barely talk above the screaming from the ladies in the audience. The loud fans couldn’t be wrong as Supernatural beat out The Vampire Diaries for Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show and Favorite TV Fan Following. They also had the job to announce the award favorite band.
