Japanther announces release date for new album 'Instant Money Magic'

Noisy indie rock duo Japanther has announced that the new studio album Instant Money Magic will be released on April 15 through Seayou Records. Catchy but with a right amount of roughness, the new single "Do It (Don't Try)" is already available to stream courtesy of Spin.

Spin decribed the track as "a charmingly blistering one-two punch of a song" with "a boisterous melody." In a little over ten years, Japanther has continued to consistently release new music, and so far has released over a dozen albums.

In March, Japanther will be touring around the U.S., including several shows at Austin, Texas' annual SXSW Music Festival and Dallas' Spillover Festival. Japanther's reputation as a raucous live band is well-deserved, considering puppets, swimmers, and BMX bikers have all at one point been incorporated into the set.

Check out all of the American spring tour dates below. Tiny Moving Parts will be supporting on all headlining shows except for St. Louis and Greenville.
