Japan week is coming up with several events. One of the events of Japan week is Japanese Restaurant Week, which is actually from February 17-March 16, 2014.
No surprise that sushi will be on much of the menus, but the most unique is beef sushi. Other dishes include specialty Ramen dishes, hot pot, and Sukiyaki, a Japanese dish that has been served for one hundred years. Also it looks like Restaurant Nippon may have Fugu (Pufferfish). There is an entire month really to enjoy all the Japanese food one can handle at a good cost. Try them all or keep going back to favorites. But in any case, there is ample opportunity to at least try Japanese food in New York City that has never been tried before.
