January, the month to tune in to a smorgasbord of Elvis' songs

Yes, my friend, Elvis is alive and dancing in your heart. The month of January allows us to revisit with him. After all, it is his birth month. Now your blue moon can turn to gold again. From Tupelo, MS, to Elvis Presley Blvd, to Beale Street and down by the riverside in Memphis, TN, he continues blowing in the wind. He is still a big hunk of love and fifty million Elvis’ fans can’t be wrong.

Come on everybody and celebrate this Dixieland Rock music. Don’t you think it’s time .So don’t think twice. It’s alright. Today as you listen to the early morning rain and hear echoes of love, you feel stirred up to follow a whistling tune. Elvis, the king, wants you to know this is a wonderful world. Instead of going west, go east, young man. Don’t settle on following the crowd and get involved in too much monkey business. Life is about experiencing happiness and letting the good times roll.

A hundred years from now, Elvis will continue to be the Guitar Man playing “Plantation Rock” and riding the rainbow slowly but surely, sharing tender feelings and reminding everybody that they’ll never walk alone. They will more fully grasp that there’s a brand new day on the horizon.

As for Elvis, that’s someone you will never forget. He has helped the world to appreciate there ain’t nothing like a song. You can’t help falling love with the man and his music over and over again. He lives on as a flaming star. His music is for the heart. It is wisdom for the ages, today, tomorrow and forever.

A special thanks to George Klein for making sure the King never dies. However, January is a special month during which there is a whole lotta shakin’ goin’ on. You also have a special personal holiday day in January. Sharing the same birthday month as Elvis has always made you feel close to him. The fact that he gets all of the attention does not change your tender feelings for him. His music has opened up a whole new world for you to enjoy. You will gladly be the first in line this time and in years to come to shout out, “Mr. Songman" because you are always in tune with the King of Rock and Roll. Thank ya very much and luv ya, Elvis, baby!
