January Jones is feeling the pain of becoming a celebrity. While some envy the woman along with her colleagues who walk the red carpet of the award shows, the reality of their lifestyle has consequences. Seen walking the red carpet at the SAG Awards on Sunday night, it would be impossible to tell, but January Jones is going bald. According to Grazia Daily the actress admitted that at some point in her career, she is going to need to start wearing wigs.
“I like it all colors, it makes you feel different according to what color it is, but I prefer to be blonde,” said January Jones speaking about her hair coloring and how it makes her bring in the characters. “I have been every color and now my hair is falling out in clumps.”
As the harsh chemicals of the hair dye and coloring are tough on entertainer’s hair, it appears to be part of the business. Knowing how essential it is to be in character, the alternative is wigs but that poses a problem too. As fans prefer to see the sacrifices the stars make to be in character, just a wig isn’t always the best choice when it comes to public perception.
