From the producers of Wedding Crashers comes the adrenaline-fueled action comedy film Hit & Run, written by, directed and starring Dax Shepard. Alongside him are fiancée Kristen Bell, Bradley Cooper, Tom Arnold, Kristin Chenoweth, Michael Rosenbaum, Jess Rowland and Beau Bridges.
Former getaway driver Charlie Bronson has been living the quiet life in northern California in the witness protection program after he turned state’s evidence against his former bank robbery crew. However his past is about to catch up with him when his girlfriend Annie Bean gets the job offer of a lifetime and he agrees to risk everything to get her to the interview in Los Angeles. Hitting the road in his 1967 Lincoln Continental, the two are pursued by the inept federal agent Randy Anderson whose gun keeps going off and Annie’s jealous ex-boyfriend Gil Rathbinn who is determined to stop them and expose Charlie’s past. Things get even more hilariously complicated when Gil tells Alex Dimitri, the vengeance-crazed criminal Charlie helped put behind bars, where to find him. With everyone firing their engines full speed ahead, the “no brakes” chase is on to see who gets to the finish line first.
