Inspired by true events is the crime film Texas Killing Fields starring Sam Worthington, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Jessica Chastain and Chloë Grace Moretz. Deep in the swamplands of Texas known as “The Killing Fields,” are mutilated bodies dumped by a sadistic serial killer. Small Texas town Detective Mike Souder and his partner, former NYPD Detective Heigh, get caught up in the investigation when Heigh feels compelled to solve the gruesome murders. As they venture outside their jurisdiction to catch the killer, they become the psychopath’s new target. In a dangerous cat-and-mouse game, the stakes get higher when a local girl goes missing. Can they solve the case and save the girl before it is too late?
