For a Good Time, Call... is a hilarious and sexy comedy film directed by Jamie Travis and written by Lauren Miller and Katie Anne Naylon. It stars Ari Graynor, Lauren Miller, Justin Long, Mimi Rogers, Nia Vardalos, Mark Webber and James Wolk.
Overachiever Lauren and free-spirited Katie cannot stand each other ever since their first short meeting in college. One night during their freshman year, Lauren was driving an inebriated Katie home from a frat party when she peed into a plastic cup, accidentally spilled it on Lauren and promptly got kicked out of the car. After that incident, they have had a clear disdain for each other.
Despite Lauren and Katie’s differences, the two end up getting paired as roommates by their friend Jesse when Lauren’s boyfriend breaks up with her and Katie is about to lose her dream apartment. Stuck under the same roof, the two get off to a rough start -- especially when one night Lauren hears strange noises from Katie’s room and rushes in to discover she is working as a phone sex operator. Initially Lauren is disgusted, but changes her mind when she loses her job. Desperate for money, she decides to get in on the good business. As the Lauren and Katie begin making money, their unlikely friendship faces new challenges -- including a betrayal that may lead to a permanent disconnection.
