January 2013 TV schedule of premieres, specials and finale dates

The 2013 midseason schedule launches this January with the premieres of several new and returning TV shows, including "Downton Abbey," "The Biggest Loser," "American Idol," "Dallas," the debut of FX's "The Americans," Kevin Bacon's "The Following" and Season 4 of "Justified."

The season finales of "Parenthood" and "American Horror Story: Asylum" will also air, along with the final episodes of "Fringe," "30 Rock" and "Private Practice."

Awards season also kicks off with the People's Choice Awards, Golden Globes and SAG Awards all airing this month, among other specials.
